In our last e-news for 2008, set yourself up for a positive New Year by booking a spot at our Budget Maximisation Workshops in February, or download the newly released TrinityP3 brochure. Either way, the focus is on being more efficient and more effective in 2009 with TrinityP3 as your partner.

Any fool can cut a budget...

Any fool can cut a budget...

...but a genius knows where and how to cut so that it does not impact effectiveness.

TrinityP3's Budget Maximisation Workshop -
Industry insights into making creativity work harder and how a tighter budget in 2009 does not have to affect your marketing impact

Melbourne: Wednesday 11th February
Sydney: Wednesday 18th February
$190 per person, $170 for AANA/AMI members

During the 3 hour workshop we will explore:
• Scope of Work Analysis - setting your requirements
• Agency Remuneration - how to get what you pay for
• Agency Performance Evaluation - moving to a performance based model
• Maximising Media - don't just buy cheaper, buy better
• Production Efficiencies - identifying opportunities to reduce cost and risk
• Reviewing Supplier Contracts - deliver greater value at no extra cost
• Digital Media Management - making the most of the opportunity
• Identifying Black Holes - case studies on how sustainable savings have been achieved

Often when times are buoyant, process improvement is overlooked because there is a marketing plan to be executed and a budget to be spent. When economies get tight, it is not the time to slash budgets, but to think smarter and review how you are working. New TrinityP3 brochure lands...

New TrinityP3 brochure lands...

The new TrinityP3 brochure outlines our focus on aligning your marketing process to maximise efficiency and effectiveness in 2009.

In fact, we’ve likened the entire marketing process to that of a commercial airline…you’re the pilot, defining the flight path, or strategic path of the brand to achieve your business objectives. The cabin crew, the baggage handlers, security, re-fuelers, ground crew, air-traffic control, catering and all of the other flight crew are the various stakeholders and service providers recruited to implement the flight plan.

The final piece to the team is the maintenance engineers. They are responsible for ensuring that the aircraft is flight ready and all equipment and systems are well maintained and operating reliably and at maximum efficiency. This is TrinityP3.

Brochures are in the mail this week. If you do not receive one, please email georgia@trinityp3.com with your mailing address or click here to download a copy. Either way, call us to discuss how TrinityP3 can help you dedicate more of your time to delivering strategic results while we make sure it is delivered as effectively and efficiently as possible, Melbourne 03 9682 6800 or Sydney 02 8399 0922.

Top 10 New Year's Resolutions

Top 10 New Year's Resolutions

Here's our Top 10 New Year's Resolutions for the Marketing Department.

1. Get your marketing plan (or more importantly budget) approved before the economic downturn.
2. Organise free tickets to all sporting and entertainment events with your Media Agency before discussing their fee reduction.
3. Do not drink too much (again) at the Agency Christmas Party.
4. Failing point 3, make sure there are no cameras at the Agency Christmas Party.
5. Learn the difference between SEM and SEO so the digital team stop snickering each time you ask.
6. Fix the Agency retainer before you ask them to do all your powerpoint presentations.
7. Plan to review the Agency contracts before Procurement come round wanting to do it for you.
8. Make sure at least one TV production is overseas (or at least interstate) as it could be the only holiday you get next year.
9. Talk to your PR agency about raising your personal profile, never know when you may need it.
10. Contact TrinityP3 in the New Year to help you work out how to reduce your marketing communication costs by 20% without decimating your marketing plan.
